Becoming Knotty

What's up family, my name is Darius and I am Tha Knotty Guy. Welcome to my website. I create an array of custom Knots and masks that tailor to both your style and personality. Handcrafted with originality, my products are a sure way to add a sense authenticity to your wardrobe. My Knots give each client the option to self- tie each time they wear it , or to only tie it once with the extra clip for a grab and clip feature. I call it tha "Hybrid Knot".

My mission as founder of Tha Knotty Guy, is to change the way people perceive the traditional bowtie. There are no limits when it comes to style. Kids 3years to 10years old should look just as fly as adult men and women. When you put on one of my "Knots" not only will look good, but most importantly feeling good would be a sure thing.

Born and raised in Atlanta, Ga, I've always had an eye for fashion and different color schemes. Growing up I idolized; Andre 3000, 1/2 of Atlanta's own "Outkast", Steve Harvey, and Fonzworth Bentley. With each gentlemen having their own unique style, I studied them, and from their I went on to develop my own dapper style that was was fitting to me.

Tha Innovating Style

People often ask me, "What made you want to get into creating bowties?" Well, bowties have always been my favorite accessory when putting together my outfits. If the bowtie didn't look right, then the whole outfit was thrown off. I always had to search high and low in every store I shopped at to find the right bowtie and always came up short or had to settle for what the stores had to offer. I would spend $35-$55 on one bowtie consistently, until one day I said to myself, "instead of spending all of my hard earned money making someone else's dream flourish, why not take that money invest in myself and start up my own line of bowties. But instead of calling them bowties, I'm going to call them Knots."

I understand that wearing "Knots" may not be for everyone, that's why developed the slogan, "Be You Be Knotty". It's not just about wearing a Knot, it's a way of life. It's inspiring others around you to have confidence in themselves, and letting their individuality SHINE even when it's hard. I encourage everyone to find their purpose in life and work day and night to fulfill their destiny. Know yourself and know why you're here.
